about
this one is sort of a mellow pop-ballad...
nick and i began work on this song while we were in separate bands. he was in 'gonzalo', i was in the 'way-outs' with michael and the world famous rob cavenaugh! this song was the very first collaboration between nick and i and it is how 'schroeder' began.
it may be redundant, but this is one of my favorite songs by any band, ever. over the years i have received a number of emails about this song from random schroeder fans. apparently i am not the only person it haunts. this recording is from the album 'moonboy'.
rick neidig, our long time manager, is featured on a schroeder song for the first and only time on this recording. that's his dulcet reading voice in the break.
